Bubble Pizza

This is our family's longtime favorite. My husband brings it to work as lunch and my son never stops raving about it.  He always request for it. It is very easy to prepare as well. This is a large quantity of recipe. If there are leftover mixture, put it in a container and freeze so that you can use it for stuffed pepper and pizza  ( I will post the recipe next time).

Line the biscuits in the pan

Pour prepared sauce and bake

It is cook when you see cracks on top

Ingredients:

1 tbsp cooking oil
1 can 29 oz tomato sauce
2 cans 7.5 oz Buttermilk Biscuit ( I prefer Pillsbury Homestyle buttermilk since it is not salty)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup mild cheddar cheese
1 lb ground chicken ( any ground meat will work)

Direction:

Heat oil then add ground chicken until cook ( it is cook when it is not pink)
Add tomato sauce
Add brown sugar
Let the mixture boil
Add cheddar cheese ( let the cheese melt then pour to the biscuit)

Heat oven at 350 F
While the above is still cooking, arrange the buttermilk biscuits in a baking pan.
When the cheese melt in the mixture, pour it on top of the lined biscuits.
Bake for 40 minutes

Note: You can tell when the biscuit are cooked when it rose/expanded. To make sure however, check the insides using the fork.

Serve and Enjoy.
